Kyoto Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Hans Jörg Fell as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With more than 21 years in senior management positions in technology and product management, in addition to 10 years in R&D and product development, Mr. Fell brings deep technical and operational leadership experience that aligns with Kyoto's mission to decarbonize industry through sustainable, low-cost heat.

Hans Jörg Fell joins Kyoto Group from the position of CPO at hydrogen start-up Battolyser Systems, and starts on 17 August. Based in Norway, he will lead Kyoto's technology organisation across Oslo and Sevilla, working closely with both teams as the company scales Heatcube from pilot installations to industrial-scale deployment across Europe.
Prior to Battolyser Systems, Mr. Fell held senior technology and product management roles across the Norwegian energy sector, including positions at Nel, Aker Solutions, Gassnova, Hydro, Borealis, and Equinor. Over more than two decades, he has built deep expertise in technology and product development, alongside extensive experience taking early-stage ventures from concept to commercial scale.
