Kyoto’s mission: To empower industries with renewable thermal energy
At Kyoto Group, our mission is to make renewable energy the easy and reliable choice for industry. Our thermal battery technology enables industrial customers to replace fossil fuels with clean electricity for heat production, without compromising efficiency, reliability, or cost.
Industrial heat accounts for nearly half of global energy consumption, making it one of the most critical frontiers in the energy transition. By storing renewable electricity as heat and delivering it when needed, we enable industries to fully leverage variable energy sources such as wind and solar.
Kyoto Group is not only delivering technology, we are also accelerating the transition to a low-carbon industrial system.
Kyoto's vision: A world powered by nature
Kyoto Group is named after the Kyoto Protocol, the landmark international treaty that laid the foundation for global climate action. Just as the Protocol paved the way for agreements like the Paris Agreement, the Kyoto Group is helping set the stage for a cleaner, more sustainable industrial future.
About the role
We are looking for a practical and organised Marketing / Demand Generation Manager with solid hands-on experience in B2B lead generation and digital campaign execution. This role focuses on delivering measurable results within established strategies and frameworks rather than defining overarching marketing direction.
You will manage day-to-day campaign activities across paid media, CRM, email, and content, while working closely with sales and external partners. The role suits someone who enjoys execution, optimisation, and performance tracking in a technical B2B environment with long sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimise multi-channel B2B demand generation campaigns.
- Execute and optimise paid media activities across Google Ads (search, display, remarketing), Bing Ads, and LinkedIn.
- Manage HubSpot activities including email campaigns, newsletters, reporting, database management, and web updates.
- Support lead generation initiatives with a focus on lead quality and conversion performance.
- Coordinate campaign-related content production, CMS updates, and asset management.
- Oversee social media scheduling, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Support product marketing activities such as messaging updates and campaign asset coordination.
- Ensure brand consistency across all campaigns and marketing materials.
- Coordinate events and manage related logistics.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and report on key metrics.
- Collaborate closely with sales, agencies, and external partners to ensure alignment and execution.
Required skills & experiences
- Around 5 years of hands-on experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or digital campaign execution.
- Strong experience using HubSpot, particularly for email, reporting, database management, and web updates.
- High proficiency in Google Ads (search, display, remarketing).
- Experience managing Bing Ads.
- Proven experience running and optimising LinkedIn paid campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in B2B lead generation and improving lead quality.
- Experience managing multi-channel digital campaigns.
- Familiarity with content production processes and CMS platforms.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe suite for basic visual tasks.
- Experience working in renewables, energy, industrial, utilities, or similar technical B2B industries.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA honours or equivalent).
Who are you?
You are a structured and reliable B2B marketer who thrives in execution-focused roles and is comfortable working within an established marketing strategy. You are highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and use data to guide decisions and optimise performance. You are comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with sales, agencies, and external partners, and you understand the dynamics of long sales cycles and technical B2B products.
You enjoy working in fast-growing, evolving environments and are able to adapt quickly while maintaining high standards. With a strong sense of integrity, self-motivation, and accountability, you contribute positively to team culture and shared goals.
Based in Norway, you work effectively in an international setting and are motivated by purpose-driven work. You have a genuine interest in renewable energy and are committed to contributing to the transition to a low-carbon economy as part of a mission-driven organisation.
Are you eager to join a fast-growing scale-up at the forefront of the energy transition?
At Kyoto Group, we give our people the freedom and responsibility to take ownership, innovate, and solve complex challenges, while making a real contribution to decarbonising industry.
We are building a diverse and collaborative workplace where people from different backgrounds unite around a shared mission: enabling renewable thermal energy for industry.
We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, travel, life insurance, and pension, and a flexible work environment that supports growth and collaboration. From professional development to team events and seasonal celebrations, we invest in our people and the culture we build together.
