Kyoto Group was at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2024 in Davos, Switzerland

Kyoto's participated in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, on January 17th, 2024. We were invited to contribute our expertise in a panel discussion on "Trustworthy Generative AI for the Industry." This panel was a key part of the World Economic Forum’s influential Affiliate Program.

This year marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time an Aker company has been given the opportunity to host an event at the Forum. We are especially proud that Kyoto Group joined the panel alongside the founder and Chief Strategy & Development Officer of Cognite John M. Lervik, Paula Doyle from Aker BP ASA and Noriko Rzonca from Cosmo Energy Holdings.

As a proud ambassador for Clean Tech and Thermal Energy Storage, we have always stressed the need for speed in order to decarbonize Industry and that it is not hard to abate.

One effective approach we employ to support our customers and demonstrate to the industry is through the strategic use of Generative AI - “Bringing AI to the Industry through the clean tech sector, represents a fantastic opportunity to leapfrog the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Energy Transition because we don’t have any legacy holding us back. We are already bringing our technology to the market, and we are bringing the technology to the Industry with AI integrated, so it’s already a fundamental part of the technology,” explained Camilla Nilsson, CEO of Kyoto Group.
