WindEnergy Hamburg 2024

Industry uses about 40% of energy and generates 25% of greenhouse gas emissions globally. A lot of these emissions come from burning fossil fuels for the generation of heat, an essential element in many industrial processes. Heat generation can also be done with renewable electricity, but costs remain high. Thermal energy storage (TES) could help to solve this. Join us to discover how, with concrete examples from the chemicals and paper industries.

Kyoto's Chief Business Development Officer Tim de Haas will participate in the session: "Accelerating industry electrification" from 12:30 pm.
