Kyoto Group joins Clean Energy Accelerator

By Camilla Nilsson, 17. Mar 2022

We are excited to share that Kyoto represented by Interim CEO and CFO Camilla Nilsson, CTO Bjarke Buchbjerg and CCO Tim de Haas has been elected among many candidates to join DeepTech Alliance’s Clean Energy Accelerator and the associated kick-off event on March 30-31, 2022 in Oslo and concluding summit and Demo Day in Milan, Italy on the 24th of May with pitches in front of corporates and investors.

The Clean Energy Accelerator is an eight-week program where DeepTech Alliance matches clean energy startups with corporate partners across Europe.

The physical kick-off event in Oslo includes panel discussions, workshops and expert talks. Kyoto Group joins the program together with startups and scaleups working with technological solutions to an industrial problem within Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Nuclear, Carbon Capture & Storage, Geothermal, Ocean (Tidal & Wave), Bioenergy, Energy storage, or similar.

The participants in the accelerator program are expected to be ready to deliver or test their solutions with corporate partners or customers.

The corporate partners whom Kyoto will be meeting in the program are among others Alfa Laval, E.On, Aker ASA, Repsol and TechnipFMC. All the partners are either in a clean energy transition process or produce energy or equipment related to the energy areas mentioned above, and see the potential of exploring innovation and business opportunities in collaboration with startups and scaleups.

We are glad to be able to take part in the program and meet potential partners, B2B customers, and investors in new markets. We are looking forward to this new step in our journey towards a greener future with clean energy.
